Company owner, Michael Boyd of Waxahachie, Texas opened Red Oak Drug in 1984 in a 1200 square foot building in Red Oak, TX with two employees. Michael focused on customer needs and concerns and exceeded his customer’s expectations with exceptional customer service and attention to detail. Michael motivated his employees to always go above and beyond the usual service for every customer. Red Oak Drug outgrew its location and moved to its new location in 2002 due to the success of Michael and Mary Boyd, dedicated employees and loyal customers.

 Our new location at 106 E. Ovilla Road Suite 1, Red Oak, TX, is a 4800 square foot store which employees 20 employees. The store may be larger, but our customers are still our number one priority. In November of 2002, Red Oak Drug purchased The Prescription Shop from Eddie Davis, a registered Pharmacist serving Waxahachie for over 25 years. By having two locations, one in Red Oak and one in Waxahachie we are better able to serve all of Ellis County.

 The Prescription Shop is located across from Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. The Prescription Shop opened its doors in 1964 and continues to provide excellent customer service with a knowledgeable staff that values our patients time and provides efficient, dependable and friendly service.
